Debit cards, smartphones or smartwatches are also accepted. No extra costs: you only pay the ticket price.

on the metro:

Tap your card, smartphone or smartwatch on the reader.

Then tap out with the same device to exit.

ON BUSES, TRAMS, AND TROLLEYBUSES:

Within Milan: just tap your card or device when you board.

Outside of Milan and on selected lines: tap in your card when you board and tap it out before getting off.

Where is tap to pay accepted?

On all Metro lines
(red, green, yellow, blue and lilac).

On all ATM trams, buses, and trolleybuses.

Please note: tap to pay is not accepted to continue the journey on S lines and railway services.
